    ADVANTAGES OF AQUATIC THERAPY

         Decreased Pain
Chronic Pain patients have reported a decline in pain after one visit!
Patients following surgery are able to exercise in the pool almost immediately with no pain.
Improved Range of Motion and Flexibility
Following and injury or surgery, a patient is able to regain flexibility more quickly with aquatic therapy
         Decreased Swelling
The water pressure aids with improving circulatory response

         Improved muscle strength and tone

         Increased cardiovascular function

         Reduced stress

         Increased circulation

         Increased strength and endurance

With a quicker start to the rehabilitation process patients are able to see strength returns more quickly.
         Increased balance and coordination

Water allows resistance to be added and taken away immediately. Water allows challenges to be added in multiple directions at once, enhancing balance and coordination.

Water is a wonderful medium for therapy services, especially warm water. There are many things that happen naturally while in water that aid the recovery from an injury.

Water is very beneficial in the early onset of rehab following
                   an orthopedic injury.

Waters compression helps to reduce pain and swelling of multiple
                   joints in the body.

Water in pediatrics provides a means for relaxation of otherwise
tense musculature and it provides an alternative for gravity reduced
                   ambulation activities.
